Dreaming of Books Giveaway Hop

Back home in Romania believing in dreams is quite popular. I used to believe in them a lot. Like if I dreamed I was crying, the next day I’d laugh a lot. Or if I’d dream blood the next day I’d receive a letter.  Or coins– that meant a heated argument. Since I moved to the US I stopped believing in them, and I must confess I feel lighter, more at ease. In looking back I think of how silly I was then to pay so much attention to them AND let whatever dream dictate how I felt the next day. I still have a recurring dream tough and as much as I refuse to acknowledge it, it proved many times true.  It’s more a sign of something bad about to happen, but luckily I don’t dream it very often.

And because the subject of the day is dreaming I decided to sign up for the 3rd Annual Dreaming of Books Giveaway Hop running from  January 18th to 24th and organized by Kathy @ I’m A reader Not A Writer and co-hosted by Reviews by Martha’s Bookshelf.

    I don’t believe in dreams because they are only dreams. My dreams are always about all kinds of adventurous, crazy things and humans with supernatural powers and fighting zombies.

    I don’t believe in dreams in the way you are saying. I have dreamt things that have happened later, but normally my dreams are just extensions of how I felt before I went to sleep.

    Hi there! I followed by email (booski24@hotmail.com) and GFC (Shelly Hammond) and became a fan on facebook (well, I already was a fan). As for dreams, I think that some people need to believe in them just as some need to believe in other things so sometimes it’s a good thing and some people don’t need to. There is a whole psychological side to dreams as well that can be looked at that can attempt to answer the dream thing but I think, for me, it’s just a matter of if it’s fiction or used in a book for plot or something like that, then I can like it because escape in fiction is awesome :D (I hope this is making sense as the screen is freaking out and I can’t see what I am typing right now, sorry everybody)

    I believe in dreams. I don’t believe them to be like premonitions or anything but I believe they are your minds way of releasing something buried inside. I mostly dream about things that have to do with whatever I was thinking about before I fell asleep or something to do with an issue that stressed me out.

    I also DO believe in dreams because I have them every night and remember them regularly. I don’t have any reoccurring dreams, but I have reoccurring people in my dreams that seem to come from out of nowhere.

    I do believe in dreams. I don’t believe that they necessarily portend what is going to happen but to me they on occasion tell me what I need to address in my life.

    Actually I do believe in dreams. I believe our dreams are telling us something or its our soul trying to tell us something. I don’t remember my dreams everyday but I know that I did dream. Thank you for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!

    I always dream really off the wall dreams, so I don’t think I believe they’ll happen. They do often provide good ideas for books or movies, though! If only I could dodge bullets matrix-style like I do in my dreams!
