Young Adult Paranormal Giveaway Hop

20 Feb
February 21st – 27th
Featuring Young Adult Books with Paranormal elements.

MY GIVEAWAY (US ONLY) the first DVD in Twilight series.

What you have to do to win this? Well, I was up to 2,998 likes on my author account on Facebook, but they did some voodoo to that number and dropped it overnight to 2,308. Not happy about it since the only reason I have a personal account AND an author account on FB is to connect with readers. So, I will kindly ask for your thumbs-up again for Camelia Miron Skiba Author Site on Facebook.

And since Twilight is my pick for this giveaway, how many of you saw all Twilight movies and which one was your favorite/ less favorite?

My fav was Breaking Down-Part II (except the animated girl). Finally Bella showed some backbone. My least favorite was New Moon. Edward seemed so pathetic with all that pity me poor guy and Bella being so lost without him, and reckless only to force him to come back to her. I almost asked for my money back but then again, I went to the dollar theater to watch this one so the waste or dent in my wallet wasn’t too big.

How about you?

Gratitude Giveaways 11/15- 11/25

14 Nov

Dear Reader,

This post is for you and about you. For many months you’ve stopped by and read my blog. Sometimes you’ve left comments, sometimes you’ve liked or friended me. Sometimes you stumbled once and never returned. And that’s a-okay. I’m still grateful you came. And for the readers out there that never found me, I hope one day the universe will work its magic and bring you here.

I am beyond grateful YOU exist. And what better way to honor YOU than to reward you with … granting you a wish (no, the goldfish is not my cousin . . . ) As part of the Gratitude Giveaways Blog Hop organized by Kathy @ I’m A Reader Not A Writer  you can win a book you want, a gift card, a DVD, tickets to a movie, you name it as long as it’s within a $15.00 budget, you go for it.

All you have to do is leave a comment about what you’re most grateful for and you are one step closer to winning. The winner will be announced on 11/26. NO need to like me, follow me, friend me, but if you still want to do it, I won’t say no. Whatever you decide to do is fine with me.

Lots of love and appreciation!

Yours truly,

Wow! Wow! Wow! I can go on saying that, but I bet I’ll drive you crazy, so I’ll tell you why I’m “wow-ing” so much. It’s because in only two days since the Holiday Blog Hop started I have 32 entries in my contest. Only a few of those entries want the gift cards, the rest want my books. How can I not “wow” so much???

Thank you all for taking the time to read and enter the contest, I’m ecstatic. I hope you’ll stop at other blogs on the Holiday Blog Hop (click on the image to the right——->>) and enter those contests as well. We figured there is well over $1,000 alone in books, leave alone all the other gifts these hard-working indie authors put together to brighten your holidays.

I have a book signing tonight and putting together my display took me a while, but in the end it was worth it. I stared at it for lengthy moments amazed my mind came up with it all! Sometimes I surprise myself. Where in the world do I come up with all these creative ideas? Believe it or not … I felt so overwhelmed I began crying. Fine, call me a cry-baby, but that’s ok. You, the ones that have a bit of a creative talent–be it painting, drawing, writing, etc– you’ll know exactly how you feel when something comes out of your own hands…

I promise to post photos tomorrow after the book signing. Just wanted to make you curious enough you’ll come back for more… Until then, happy hopping and don’t forget to enter the contest below:

Let’s Hop Together!

14 Dec

I don’t know about you, but for me the time around the holidays makes me excessively happy. I find it easier to get closure on things that bugged me throughout the year and spread the love.

There are so many things I’m grateful for: my family, my health, my career; the list goes on… Amazing people at work and at home surround me. Starting this year I can add to my list: amazing readers and supporters as I began my journey as a writer. I can’t thank you enough!

And since this is the season of giving, I decided to participate in the Holiday Hop featuring incredible indie authors, all awaiting you to be the winner of their prizes. I will be giving away 3 e-copies of my debut novel “Hidden Heart”, 3 e-copies of my second novel “A World Apart” (which will be release December 26th), AND 3 iTunes gift cards.

The Hop’s rules are quite simple and if I, the ‘I’m-not-technical’ queen can do it, so can you. All you have to do is click on the Hop’s Image to the right of this post —–>>, visit as many blogs as possible, enter the contest and leave your info for the author to contact you after the Hop ends. Some authors have prizes given out every day, others at the end of the event. Either case, the more blogs you visit the more chances you have to win. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed with the variety of these prizes.

At the end of the Hop winners from all blogs will have the chance to win a Kindle Fire! What better way to spend the holidays reading your favorite books on your brand new Kindle? The lucky winner will be announced on the Holiday Hop’s website—come back and see for yourself.

Have you hopped yet?…
