Back To The Books Giveaway Hop

31 Aug

Hosted by Kathy @ I Am A Reader, Not A Writer   & Buried in Books  the Back To The Books Giveaway runs between 09/01 and 09/07 with winner announcement on 09/08

Went to B&N this week and found Stephen King’s Bag Of Bones“. I never read his books (S.K’s lovers, don’t throw that stone, ok? I thought his genre was a bit too much for my taste) but I guess I now understand why his work is adulated: I only read a few pages and oh, boy! did it give me the chills. A lot of readers consider this story the best he’d written and with 4.1 stars our of 5 on Amazon that might be the case.

I got two copies one for me and one for you. For entrants outside the US this will be an e-copy; for US residents it will be a paperback version. For your chance to win this book please enter the form below AND answer this question in the comments area: Which novel by S.K. is your favorite?

Good luck everyone!

There are so many of his books that leave lasting impressions it’s hard to pick just one. My favorites though are Needful Things and Misery. IT, Pet Cemetery, The Tommyknockers, The Tailsman, Cujo, Carrie, Christine and all the others I’ve read have left long lasting impressions, both good and bad.

The only Stephen King book I’ve read is The Green Mile, but I’ve loved it and I’ve always wanted to read more. It’s so sad to hear about Michael Clarke Duncan who did an amazing job in the movie version. My husband is a huge Stephen King fan and has read several of Mr. King’s works.
