Is this for a paperback? Because I don’t have a kindle. But I don’t know what the scariest book I have read is. I usually read more mystery kind of books

It’s for kindle, or any electronic reading device…sorry 😦

Scariest book? I’ve read sooo many. I think the most recent scary books I’ve read is Solstice by Donna Burgess

Just sent a friend request on Goodreads. (aimeekay) thanks for the giveaway!

Also @Samantha if you have a computer you can download different programs to your computer that you can use to read e-books. (amazon has one specifically for Kindle ebooks too)

Great advice, Aimee (I should’ve thought that myself since I read on my IPad, my IPhone, my laptop AND my desktop. Duh! sometimes I need to take those horse-glasses off.

I think the book that gave me the most creepy feeling is IT by Stephen King.

    • CameliaMironSkiba October 24, 2012 at 8:03 am #

It’s interesting how many people have read IT and think it’s the scariest. Can you imagine SK when he wrote that story? I wonder if he was scared as well…

The scariest book I’ve ever read would have to be Unwind by Neal Shusterman. It’s not scary because of ghosts or serial killers but because of how realistic it is. It really does describe how a society could sink to the point of being willing to kill their own children if given the proper motivation and propaganda.

I’m not sure if this is really considered scary …but I don’t usually read scary books so mine would have to be “The Replacement” by Brenna Yovanoff. Thank you :]

I was given a couple books 20+ years ago by my Aunt. I thought ‘who is this guy Stephen King?’ Man, were those some dark times or what! lol From there I went on to Dean Koontz, etc….and although I really haven’t read any creepy books in awhile, no one that I know of can compare to ‘The King’!
    Thank you for the chance…

I started SK’s Bag of Bones a while ago and couldn’t finish it. It must be my interest-in-spooky-books = 0
One must really enjoy this genre, which I don’t, but from a writer’s perspective I like to expose myself to all kind of genres and styles. I do hate starting a book and not finishing though, so I might go back to it one day…
      Thanks for stopping by!
