MY GIVEAWAYS: INCLUDE E-COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING TWO NOVELS:

book2

Waitress Lucy West is down on her luck at the diner. A fan of late-night television reruns, she’s always dreamed of a nineteen-fifties style happily ever after. But, in reality, she’s opted to settle. Barely scraping by on her meager salary and tired of going it alone, she figures marrying affable, yet distractible, Mitch as making the right move. Little does she know that Christmastime–and Santa–have other plans in store…

Bachelor dad William Kinkaid has his hands full with a young teenage son and a five-year-old daughter. Since losing his wife to cancer three years before, William’s worked hard to keep things as upbeat and normal for the family as possible. After his child makes a special Christmas wish, William’s stunned to awaken Christmas morning to find a beautiful blonde on the sofa. The woman can’t remember a thing, and his kid thinks Santa brought her. Can William solve the mystery about who she really is, without giving away his heart?

book

A childhood spent on the streets leaves Mallory Phillips longing for a normal life and a perfect Christmas. Now an elementary school nurse in Chandlerville, Georgia, Mallory’s dream to blend into the picturesque community isn’t working out. She’s once more living a loner’s existence. Then an emotionally fragile seven-year-old appears in her living room in the middle of the night, and Mallory’s isolated world is turned upside down.

This is Polly Lombard’s first Christmas without her mother, and she won’t utter a word to anyone—except Mallory. She believes Mallory holds the key to helping her father overcome his sadness. Despite Pete Lombard’s lingering grief over his wife’s death and concern for his daughter, his resistance to their mysterious neighbor crumbles as he spends more time with Mallory and falls for her amazing heart. But when her past returns to haunt her, is Mallory strong enough to keep the Lombard family in her life? And can the spirit of Christmas heal these broken souls and bring them all the joyous, loving holiday they deserve?

I love seeing family members I only get to see once a year for a few hours. They live on the opposite coast.. and every year it’s always a lot of fun- lots of food, walking around to see xmas lights and gifts 🙂

    • CameliaMironSkiba December 1, 2012 at 11:01 am #

Hahaha, Readsalot, the food huh? I sure use the holiday season as an excuse to munch on more sweets than the rest of the year.
      Thanks for stopping by.

my favorite part is setting up the christmas tree 🙂 and visiting my family, dont get to see them much

    • CameliaMironSkiba December 1, 2012 at 10:57 am #

      Oh, Lily,

Setting up the christmas tree it’s a-okay if I get my guys to help. But bringing down from the garage all the boxes with decorations it’s all the help I get from them. I always threaten I won’t do it if they don’t help and I always end up doing it all alone. It’s the same ritual every year. When all is up and the lights shine then I think to myself, I’m so glad I did it.
And this year I’ll have my parents here to celebrate with us so, I totally understand what you mean about visiting family. Lots of love to you and yours!

  18. April Hays December 2, 2012 at 12:46 pm #

My favorite part is waking up early to watch how excited my children are to open their presents and their smiles 🙂

    • CameliaMironSkiba December 2, 2012 at 1:24 pm #

      April,

I remember those times too when my son was little and his excitement. Now he’s 18 and socks and legos and puzzles don’t faze him anymore. LOL The older they are the harder it gets to get them something they like/want. BUT I still make him write Santa–if finding gifts for him is frustrating, writing Santa it’s a small payback *evil grin*
      Happy Holidays!

    • CameliaMironSkiba December 5, 2012 at 9:59 am #

      Hi Kim,

I too have a fake tree. My hubby is afraid the real one would catch up on fire, so we use a fake one. In fact I got 3 tinsel trees this year, a green, a gold and a red one. They really look cute surrounded by presents. My dog doesn’t even get close to them, so I can still put garland on them.

My favorite part of Christmas used to be getting a break from school, but now that I’ve graduated (until I apply for more school, anyways), I suppose that I get to take that question more seriously. I love being able to cook a large, traditional meal for my family. Cooking is a passion of mine, and holiday food is always comfort food, which makes it wonderful to share with those I love.
