Dear daughter, let Miley Cyrus be a lesson to you.

Yes, this is what happens when you constantly hear everything you do is awesome. This is what happens when people fawn over your every Tweet and Instagram photo. This is what happens when no responsible adult has ever said the word “no,” made you change your clothes before leaving the house, or never spanked your butt for deliberate defiance.

If you ever even consider doing something like that, I promise you that I will run up and twerk so you will see how ridiculous twerking looks. I will duct tape your mouth shut so your tongue doesn’t hang out like an overheated hound dog. I will smack any male whom you decide to smash against his pelvis – after I first knock you on your butt for forgetting how a lady acts in public.

    I just can’t imagine who thought that was a good image to spread to all the teen girls in the world who adore Miley Cyrus. There are other, better ways to show that she’s moved on from Hannah Montana – though she should remember that without Hannah Montana she’d be nothing.

    Someone else wrote a post taking Robin Thicke to task for not only the degrading words to the song, but for being a grown, married man who participated in this vulgarity on stage. Wonder how proud his wife and kids are??

      It’s sad to see what direction she is going. It’s like Britney Spears’ syndrome took over her personality. A lot of it has to do with he Hollywood and media pressure, I’m sure. Hopefully as time will go by she’ll turn her life around…
