I can’t ever buy presents and hold them until the day I’m supposed to give them away. Ask my son how many times he received his birthday presents waaaay in advance. I can’t keep a secret. Don’t ever tell me you stole your grandma’s shoes or snuck a boy/girl in your room at night. Chances are the world will know, courtesy of my big mouth.
But I’m not sorry for divulging this secret of mine I’ve been harboring for several weeks now, secret that’s eating me up inside because I’m afraid that my heart will burst open with too much happiness. What’s causing this happiness? For some it might sound silly but it’s . . . a brand new cover for my military romance A WORLD APART. The change was long needed and, even though I love the original, it’s missing the military aspect of the romance, without which (these two words together sure sound awkward) the book becomes another romance novel among million of others. How could I make it stand out?
The answer was simple: new cover that will show—without a doubt—the novel’s genre. With the help of a super talented designer, Rachel @ No Sweat Graphics—the new cover grew from a nugget to a real piece of art. Each time I look at it, I fall in love a little more, hence the extreme bout of happiness.
Next week, I invite you to return for the grand cover reveal scheduled for May 25th. I’d be delighted if you stopped by to see it and to enter a giveaway for a $25.00 gift card at a retailer of your choice (Amazon, B&N or Starbucks 😉 )
